Experience the Sacred Peepal Tree, referred to as "Ashvatta" in the Vedas, providing divine shade for the celestial horse. Known as the "Arasa Maram" or king of trees in Tamil culture, it holds a special significance. The Bhagavad Gita recognizes it as a manifestation of Krishna, while the Atharvana Veda deems it the Amrita of the World. Under its branches, Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment, becoming the Buddha, leading to its name as the Bodhi tree.
Our designer drew inspiration from the sacred peepal leaf and ingeniously translated it onto this saree using the classic ikat technique. Embrace the profound symbolism and timeless artistry of the Peepal leaf motif woven into this exquisite creation.
