Extra warp also Dobby  is a technique where additional warp ends are inserted in border of the saree and used to create a decorative pattern on top of the saree border. DOBBY / EXTRA WARP

weft interlocking is a technique used for adding blocks of colors and creating seams of color.Here two weft yarns are woven or join with the warp yarns.  WEFT INTERLOCKING 

Vishista. When a natural Indigo combines with natural madder red it creates vintage magic. Here it is through a Phoda Kumbha, fish dobby border and jaala palla, fish and Rudraksha butta in the body, very intricately woven, a treasured Odisha natural dyed handwoven saree in Mulberry Silk.
We have named it “Vishista” meaning a prime and important weave from Odisha.
