HANDLOOM DOBBY / EXTRA WARP
The Lotus Parrot is a reflection of Textile Designer Anupriya Mridha vision and love for flora and fauna, and the idea of implementing it into an Indian Ozee ( Floral Jaal ) forming a continuous jaal inspired from the Indian Mughal Art. The design was initially created on cotton ikkat and then with its popularity, it was also created on mulberry silk ikkat. Now it’s been more than 3 years, the design and colors are in continuous production because the demand is endless. Currently, the local weavers from the nearby villages have started making the replica of the same and the local market is also flooded with our ‘Lotus Parrot’ design. We are proud and happy to receive an overwhelming response to our ‘Lotus Parrot’ from the locals and all over the world.
