Every element of that ecosystem is woven into this saree.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe collection was conceived by Anupriya Mridha, a textile designer trained at NIFT Delhi and founder of Vani Vrtti, who has worked exclusively with Gopalpur tussar silk and Odisha weavers since 2016.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach piece is woven by \u003cstrong\u003eNarayan Das\u003c\/strong\u003e, a state award winning master weaver, and his wife \u003cstrong\u003eGurubari Das\u003c\/strong\u003e Vani Vrtti's first weaver and the namesake of the Gurubari series. Setting up the loom for this design alone took more than a month. A hundred jalas are attached to the loom, each handpicked to place every motif with exact precision. Weaving a single piece takes 45 days of continuous work by two master weavers.
