From the count of lakhs now it's only thousands, we are talking about the number of handloom weavers in Banaras which is depriving day by day due to power-loom overtake, use of synthetic fibers and lack of motivation to the young weavers. Sadly, most of the handloom weavers are aged more than forty years now.
Banarasi saree, the most famous and celebrated handloom weave known to the world is going to lose its art and might be seen as museum pieces in the coming 50 years. So as a VaniVrtti team of textile designers and handloom marketers, we have taken a project initiative to revisit, rejuvenate and reinvent purely handwoven natural fibers Banarasi sarees.

Thus, VaniVrtti promises you to bring in the pure Banarasi sarees which will represent our design concepts, colors, and most importantly quality.
